Our Commitment & Limited Warranty

At Mailbox Solutions, LLC, we take pride in the craftsmanship and longevity of our installations. Many of our cedar posts have stood the test of time, serving homeowners for 15–20 years. We are committed to sourcing the highest quality cedar available in the current market to ensure your installation is built to last.

However, because cedar is a natural organic material and our mailboxes are exposed to the elements 365 days a year, we provide the following specific warranty terms to ensure clarity and mutual understanding.

1-Year Limited Warranty (Materials & Labor) Mailbox Solutions, LLC warrants to the original purchaser that our mailbox installations will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation.

What is Covered:

Labor: Any structural failure caused by improper installation techniques.

Materials: Significant manufacturing defects in the metal mailbox unit or structural failure of the cedar post that occurs within the first 12 months.

If a covered defect is discovered within this period, Mailbox Solutions, LLC will repair or replace the defective component at no cost to you.

The Nature of Cedar (Important Customer Notice)

We diligently source the best cedar lumber available. However, cedar is a natural product subject to the effects of climate, humidity, and temperature.

Cracking & Splitting: It is normal for wood to expand and contract, resulting in surface cracks (checks) or splits. These are natural characteristics of the timber and generally do not affect the structural integrity of the post.

Natural Weathering: Graying or color changes due to UV exposure.

Rot & Decay: While cedar is naturally resistant to rot, we cannot warrant against long-term biological decay or insect damage beyond the initial 1-year period.

General Exclusions

Please note that this warranty is strictly limited to defects in our material and workmanship. The following are not covered under this warranty:

Damage caused by snow plows, snow blowers, or debris thrown by road maintenance vehicles, or any maintenance crews

Damage resulting from vehicle impact, vandalism, or other third-party interference.

Damage caused by "Acts of God," including severe windstorms, hail, falling trees, or floods.

Modifications, attachments, or alterations made to the post or mailbox by the homeowner or third parties.

Limitation of Liability

Mailbox Solutions, LLC shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use or failure of this product. Our total liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product as stated above.
